The standard one bedroom apartments are stylish and feature an open plan design. There is a separate spacious bedroom from the living and dining area, and apartments have their own private balcony. the accommodation was clean and comfortable. reception staff were friendly and helpful. the only problem we had was finding it as it is listed as Roma Street but the front entrance is on the side street

I felt the kitchen was a bit sparse with only 1 glass and nothing very good to cook on cupboards are very old and starting to break up, it was mainly the kitchen other parts were reasonable.

I had to go to the desk and ask for two light bulbs to be replaced. One in the lounge and the bedside lamp in the bedroom of 502. The television set in 506 could not be tuned into
free to air broadcast. Your reception desk people were as helpful as it was possible to be,
But as it was the Saturday there wasno maintenance staff available. Obviously housekeeping staff need to be more thorough, when checking the rooms

This is a budget accomodation so don't expect Hilton rooms. However we found the staff very helpful, the rooms were clean and well supplied. The position is great for travel around Brisbane and further affield with the Transit Centre opposite and east walking distance to river and city. Two needs as far as we were concerned was better lighting in the lounge and a small frying pan, the flash huge electric frypan was a bit large for a couple of eggs.

Airconditioner fan extremely noisy. The room had a bad/musty odour which cleared eventually with aircon turned on. Bathroom tired & needing some TLC

I had a refurbished room on the 12 floor which was nice, clean and above the traffic noise.

Older style apartments. The main light in the bathroom didn\'t work but plenty of room and comfortable. The pillows were very old and stained though - bring your own pillow or pillow protector as I did! Very pleased I was given a room as per my \'special request\' - I would stay here again :)

great place to stay very central clean rooms pool was not clean and spa was dreadfull. not recommended for families with smalll kids very concerned about windows with no safety catch for kids (can fall out easily)

The room was very comfortable and position was extremely convenient.
Liked: position, layout of room
Disliked: the shower. It was the merest trickle and took forever to get enough pressure to wash one\'s hair! Also the bathroom coming off the main bedroom could be inconvenient.

Very happy with room and staff at reception and roomcleaner. Found it strange to have saucepans and frypans but no hot plate, but two electric frypans and ordinary microwave did the trick. As we stayed 10 days this did effect us but if only staying a couple of nights not a problem.
Liked: would have liked tv in bedroom but that is just us.
Disliked: dont like to have pets in hotels.

We had 3 rooms booked all together, great size, great location. One of our rooms didn\'t have any wine glasses, but on request they were quick to supply us with anything we needed. Only complaint was that all three rooms had very bad dripping taps in the bathroom, ours wasn\'t just dripping it was a continual run, we did tell them about it on the Friday lunch time , but nothing was done about it. When questioned again on the Saturday we were told that no maintance worked the week-end, which is reasonable, but considering all the signs around the room about conserving the precious water, I would have thought it would have been addressed straight away on the Friday. Only other negative is the banging doors, they really do all shut very quickly and if your not very thoughtful, (which we found most people in the hotel weren\'t) you did hear banging doors a lot of the time with other people coming and going all hours. But even with that, we will definately be recommending the hotel and will stay there again for sure.

We found the apartments to be great, just what we required, disability rooms excellently configured. The staff very helpful, and it was great coming back for a second stay because we felt like we were coming home, we were remembered and questions asked about our trip. We would definitely stay there again. The only problem I had was the web site lead me to believe that I had paid for the first night and placed a deposit for the 3 night special, which was not to be the case when we checked in, this in the end was not a big problem as I paid on the credit card, but had I to find the cash it could have been problematical.

Although all the important things were well taken care of, quality linen/towels etc. the room was showing its age & could do with a little updating for the price range, particularly the carpets
